  • Most insurances pay for most or all of the charges for individual counseling services.  This includes both private insurance (through yourself or your employer) as well as Kentucky Medicaid.
  • Studies actually link counseling to better overall health.  People who receive counseling are less likely to have major health issues and incur health related costs.
  • Counseling is highly effective.  This has been proven over and over in many studies.  Counseling and medication together have a very high improvement rate.
  • Need medication management?  We can communicate with your health care provider about your mental health diagnosis or provide a referral for you to be set up with a medication management provider.
  • There are different kinds of counseling and different approaches.  If you have seen more than one counselor in the past chances are you can tell that there is a difference in the treatment.  Each counselor works through what is called a "theoretical approach."  Some examples of these are Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian, Person Centered, Existential, and More.  In addition, there are different kinds of counseling.  These types include individual, couples, family, and group counseling.
  • Counseling is transparent and client centered.  Our goal is to make sure that you better your life in the ways that you decide.  You have the right to ask questions about your care and the interventions used.  We want you to ask!  Knowledge is power.
